Cord exists as a ministry of St Catherine’s Argyle for postgraduate students and young workers.

Envisioned by the words of Colossians 2:7, Cord seeks to help Christians to be “rooted and built up in Christ” and “strengthened in their faith” by regular rigorous study of the Bible in a context of strong Christian fellowship in the local church. There is an emphasis on understanding God’s Word in order to promote godly obedient living and confidence in holding out the word of life to the surrounding world.

This term we are studying Colossians.  We are going to be using a published study book called ‘The Complete Christian’. The study series seeks to answer the question: what does it mean to be fully and genuinely a Christian using Paul’s letter to the Colossians.
