The Lunch Club is a friendly place for seniors to enjoy good food and company. Around thirty people meet in the church hall on the last Thursday of each month from 12noon to 2pm. A home-cooked meal is followed by an activity and often a local speaker. Examples of recent activities include:
- Performance from children in local primary school
- Talk from a Guider about her trip to India
- Visit from a team studying at local Bible College
- Themed quizzes
- Burns meal with piper
- Christmas lunch
All are warmly invited to come (there is no need to be a church attender) and you are welcome to accompany an elderly relative or friend if you would like to. Our Lunch Club leaders love listening to our seniors and welcome all who come. We can also arrange transport to the Lunch Club for you if that would help – please phone our Church Administrator, Fiona MacKenzie, on 667 7220.
